This account is a throwaway, because reasons. I've posted here for many months under other throwaway accounts. I've seen an evolution of the sub. Change is expected - nothing wrong with that. The most recent wave is a lot of young blood - teens who genuinely want to learn what it means to go their own way. But, there are also a lot of others trying to poison the well. (Looking at you, simps in MGTOW-clothing.)

MGTOW isn't about bashing women. It never was. It's not about trying to pick them up. It's not about complaining they don't sleep with you. It's not about hating them for AWALT. THIS SUB was originally about learning that men can live a life they love without approval from anyone else - no woman, no man, no church, no government, n-o o-n-e e-l-s-e.

To go your own way means you set the standard of your life from WITHIN. You do not read about it in a blog, watch it on a YouTube, view it on Instagram, fuck it in a Tinder hookup, quote it from a movie, or earn it at your job.

To go your own way means it has to be YOURS. YOU have to write it, and it has to make you cry as well as sound like the most rational & logical truth you've ever read. It has to sound like your own LIFE depends on it, because it DOES.

To go your own way means IT wakes you up in the morning, not an alarm.

To go your own way means accepting you have a past, SOME past, that you cannot change and it does not affect your FUTURE. You can be divorced, abused, accused, dumped, raped, disabled, ripped-off, still married, or lucky to escape something horrific. But, it doesn't make a difference on what you're going to do NEXT.

If you've already gone your own way...well...you're not here anymore. Reading this means you're still not sure of yourself, still going through some existential conundrum, still searching for someone else's path similar enough to your own that you could follow them as a role model. It's not here. It's not in this sub. It's not on the internet. The GOOD news is that you must create it.

So, just go DO that. Once you MAKE you, you go LIVE you. You'll be living a life Redditors envy, because they are too busy looking for an answer instead of writing one.

Go write one.
