Me [32M] dealing with multiple partners who don't want to use birth control.

So I'm 32, single, college educated, employed full-time, work part time occasionally, and well known and respected in my community because of my volunteer work.

Now I'm by no means someone who jumps into bed with everyone he meets. I've been with 11 women in my life, I can name every one of them, and several were long term relationships.

Lately I've noticed that women I've gotten involved with do not want to use birth control. They are not on the pill, nor using some other form of birth control.

So, ever since I got one of my former partners pregnant, I've kept a few condoms in my jacket, and kept a spare pack in the center console of my car.

When I go to put the condom on, the women I'm with get upset! One said that I was implying that she was dirty. Another said she was on the pill and it wasn't necessary. Still another insisted that she didn't like how it felt with one.

My response is always the same, "You have fifteen different ways to protect yourself, between the pill, the patch, an IUD. This is the only thing that is in my control to protect myself, so I am using it."

A female friend of mine who has about twenty years on me, says that these girls are looking for a meal ticket, see that I'm a hard-working accomplished young man, and want to lock me in by getting pregnant. I did not want to believe this, but after seeing the pattern, I'm beginning to believe it's a thing for my generation.

Nobody gets married and then has kids anymore, they get married because they're having a kid. Am I wrong to insist on protecting myself? Am I the only person who thinks this is just bizarre?
