Wanted to get your thoughts on the new movie. The original is my favorite movie of all time, and this one was pretty great as well. Super long and super slow, but the more I think about it, the more I want to see it again.

Anyways, the digital girlfriend was interesting to watch as I follow the sex robot industry pretty closely and I thought it was accurate in what we could have in the next decade or two. The part where the prostitute got upset that the protagonist didn't "like real girls" made me chuckle and even a real woman and a digital one get into arguments and create drama.

The original movie has a lot of MGTOW elements in it with the protagonist, but this one has even more. The nihilistic theme of purposelessness is a real gut punch and very refreshing, haven't seen a movie like this.

The guy next to me in the theater fell asleep and was snoring, I know not everyone likes slower paced movies but I thought it was amusing that he only woke up for the few action scenes and then fell asleep again.
