When u adjust for inflation "Captain Marvel" is doing pretty good at the box office, it not easy to make the 21th best movie out of 21 from the box office perspective (aka: market, not media or critics).

To be fair, even if you doesn't adjust for inflation it'll be the 20th/21 (not bad), being the second worst marvel movie (market perspective) .

-P.S : I did some projections, and in 3 months the movie's earnings won't go much up (There's a 87.3% chance i'll stay between 20th and 15th out 21) .

long story short : movie's budget + advertisement (that huge in marvel) + taxes make the risk prime for investors ... well not a good move for the next quarter earnings report .
