I actually think a radically ascetic/Stoic life might be the only true mgtow path.

Sex and love are frankly the best worldly comforts (considering that the second most important thing to any being after its own survival is reproduction). If you try to replace the best worldly comforts with lesser worldly comforts (money, a car, video games, etc.) you’ll always be disappointed.

It’s like how you’ll always wish you could be smoking as long as you keep relying on some form of nicotine, because smoking is the most enjoyable form of nicotine consumption. The only way to transend smoking cravings is to transcend caring for nicotine at all. And the only way to transcend caring about women is to transcend caring about anything at all.

I've been considering it lately with all the stories that have been out lately.

TBH, It really wouldn't be all the difficult, the ratio of men to women up here is 35:1, maybe higher, and we're gonna get snow locked in the next few weeks anyway... that ratio will hit triple triple digits for the next 5 months anyway.

I might just stay home next summer during the weekends, completely disappear, let all the rough necks from the oil patch play the game of 'find that unicorn'.
