That forum is the gift that keeps on giving. So much foolishness. A lot of the time I can't tell what is real or fake. I think this recent post is real though:

Yesterday, I found out I passed my legal qualification exams. I am going to be a fucking lawyer! I am going to be levelling the fuck up, career wise. So much so that I will be even further away from his [her cheating ex] league. He can have that trash with no self respect. I am going to be a sexy, successful and amazing LAWYER.

What she thinks is going to happen: She's going to be a lawyer! She's going to get a glamorous well paid job straight out of school! She's going to be around hot, successful, upper class guys who will impressed by her credentials and want to date her!

What will actually happen: Law school will be tough. She won't have a job when she leaves. She will have to struggle to find a job. If she's lucky she might find a job at some small stripmall legal office for maybe $25 an hour reviewing incredibly boring documents. Or cold calling companies trying to get business. Shit work. She'll be up to her eyeballs in law school debt which she won't be able to pay off.

Will guys be impressed with her degree? Not really. Unless she goes to a top 10 school (and I can guarantee she won't be) it'll just be an interesting talking point at the local bar. The sort of guys she's hoping to impress will regard her degree from Appalachian School of Law or something as a joke. Not that she'll ever be hanging around those guys anyway.
