I’m 21, and relatively successful. I come from a poor background, and by working hard, has already helped my family to become more middle class.
I have been on both sides of the table; been the one, when I was younger, where girls would laugh at me because of my background and uncool clothes, to be the one girls look up to.
I just feel empty - as like they cannot love me at all. It’s only because I’m this or that, not because I’m myself.
I’m quite familiar with many of the quotes, like “It’s only what you provide...” etc. However, how do you cope with the feeling that you’ll never find a woman who will love you for who you are? You will always be alone, and it will only be because of your success that she will say stuff like “I love you for who you are”, which is not true...
Please help me to understand how I can cope with this - it makes life feel meaningless.
