Hello guys, Im from Argentina and im about to turn 26 in March and im studying English teaching and i really hate it (i like English but not the teaching it part), its making me too depressed that im having suicidal thoughts and im basically doing it because my parents want me to do it and I've already spent 4 years in it and need 2 more. Recently where i live, a college open a course for programming (2 years), I've always loved working with computers (spend a lot of time sitting in front of one too), building them and stuff and ive tried some programming with the help of some youtube vids and its quite fun. I was wondering what you guys think about programming, does it have good job opportunities, am i too old for it? or i should just stick with English teaching. Both careers are 2 two years.
