I want to live in a country where if a man is being abused or threatened, people will actually take him seriously instead of laughing at him.

OTOH, I'd rather not live somewhere where danger and crime is rampant, such as South America or Eastern Europe.

And even the Asian countries don't sound overly appealing, as some of the countries have very high male suicide rates, male bullying in schools and workplace (because of the cultural Confucian hierarchy), the males get easily jealous of other males, and the languages are most difficult to learn for native English speakers

Based on my limited experience with traveling abroad, I would have to say Taiwan and Thailand would be the most favorable places. Possibly Singapore, Malaysia, China, Japan, and Hong Kong also (but absolutely NOT Korea)
