It's true in a sense. Revenge is driven by seething emotions. That means you're allowing the person who wronged you control over your thinking, and ultimately your life. I had a guy fuck me out of money, and it's taken a while to let it go. There's nothing I could do in terms of retaliation that would be worth the risk of me losing what I've worked hard for. My revenge is living well and having money, while he will always be a bum.

Revenge is driven by seething emotions
"Love me or hate me for both work in my favor, for if you love me I am always in your heart, and if you hate me I am always in your mind." -- Shakespeare

One thing I can safely bet on in this world after 30 years of getting fucked over in it, and while also having some great times to go with the valleys, is that karma is real, and the old adage is true: it really is a fucking merciless bitch.
People DO in fact get whats coming to them. It just never comes at a time, a place, or in the manner we fantasize about. Its likely long after we've moved on, forgotten about them, and completely focused on our new, more important lives. Sometimes you're lucky and do get to hear about their downfalls through the grapevine but typically by then, I've found the burning hatred has usually subsided by then, and my reaction is always more of a "damn sucks for them, lol, fucking retard that's what you get..." rather than a "YES THANK YOU GOD I CAN SLEEP NOW THAT MY ENEMY FROM 5 YEARS AGO HAS CANCER".
A good way of looking at it is this. Let's say you're one of those self-taught scrapper type tough guys that gets into bar fights a lot. You have some drinks and always get heated and either start shit or just overreact to some other drunk douche bag and your first instinct is to always just go at it. Let's say you win all the time, too.
Eventually what WILL happen is one day you will fuck with someone or piss someone off who either is actually a really serious tough guy or trained combatant, or they are way more petty/angrier than you or just downright a miserable piece of shit human being. One day you will trigger someone who will either stomp/whoop your ass into the pavement and not think twice, and it'll be an ass-kicking that makes you find yourself or god or something like that. Or the fucker will just stab or shoot you and walk away without a care in the world. Or even worse, but least likely, is you piss off a true sociopath like you hear about in documentaries, like the Iceman for example, and this person follows you home and shoots you in the head while you're taking a dump or sleeping or something.
Remember Newton's Third Law? For every action there is an equal, and opposite reaction. Karma works a lot in the same way. Because its all energy; punching someone in the face that didn't actually deserve it is an energy transfer much the same way saying something twisted and harmful to someone is. The universe also knows and reacts to your intention before you even know it. The difference is that with karma, the reaction is never equal. It's always several orders of magnitude worse.
So, the conclusion is that while 95% of the people I encounter/interact/deal with are selfish, ill-mannered, low-IQ, petty, glorified apes that will typically walk over you or throw you under the bus the second they see an opportunity to gain something or advance in whatever hierarchy they subscribe to, because of my experience with karma and seen it so many times come knocking for its take, I try my best to be completely honorable, respectful, and courteous to everyone. That also doesn't mean I let everyone treat me like a doormat. I try to let people fuck themselves over and dig their own holes.
Truly, this meme is correct. Not giving a fuck really is better than revenge. But remember we all are human and fantasizing about murdering someone is completely different from actually murdering someone. And everyone has their breaking limit, where something forces them to really go off the deep end.

This Anon is super based. It echos my own life. I had to work hard to understand how my emotions had "energy" and how revenge thoughts, especially against my x-wife were only hurting me. There is something huge to "Starving People of Energy" and I'm a huge believer in this, especially with vile women. The most powerful thing you can do to a woman is turn your back on her; rob her of energy. At that point, she's finally realizes she has to provide value and good energy to get the resources and attention of quality men.
The way Anon talks is how this great song by Mark Guiliana called "Taming the Dragon" goes. The song talks about wanting to Man Up and seek revenge and how his guardian warns him of that action.

The best part of this is that in time, when it comes back around, you won’t be involved. They can’t blame you and you’ll be far outside the range of collateral damage.

Alsolutely right. Don't care for revenge. I just throw people out of my life that do not bring fun to my life / are not worth any trust anymore. Plain simple. They treated me bad, they literally are dead to me. No need to put revenge on a dead one.

Ignoring women drives them crazy.

Well.. I don't know about that.. Revenge is so sweet and sometimes is necessary if you had a safe chance.

Revenge is only for major things with long term effects. Not giving a fuck is way healthier for most emotional or minor financial/inconvenient wounds.

Whenever a woman tells you she’s leaving you, cheating on you, loves you but isn’t “in love with you”, the absolute best response is “great! I’ve been wanting to shakes things up!”
Be careful though, because they get fucking pissed off.

The best kind of revenge is to live happily.
