DISCLAIMER: Long Post
-I remember getting “Hot or Not” the app when it first came out because a guy friend of mine said something along the lines of “you’ll drown in pussy”, I was a blue pilled 9th grader in high school at the time so my naive self immediately put together a profile and started the swiping. Ever since then I’ve tried different dating apps: Tinder, Hot or Not, Bumble, etc.
-This has been a recurring theme/experience from using these apps: (I consider myself a good looking guy and have been labeled “good looking guy” as most friends, not always but this has been the case since I took up lifting and I’m pretty fit tall decent face etc, oh and full on red pill about any sort of Long term relationships but ok with short or hook up type things)
I always loved the anticipation when I made a profile or opened up the app to swipe, to see how many matches I’d get that day and I averaged 10-15 matches whenever I swiped but for some reason right after I matched or was done swiping I just hated that I had to now come up with cool/funny/quirky things to say to stand out and what not, this process always drained me and after going on any dates or just texting a girl for sometime I just felt disgusted at the time I wasted and overall was sad and it didn’t even come close to that happy rush I got during the anticipation part of swiping or the immediate “It’s a Match” prompt. So I ended up getting bored eventually by the cycle and deleted the app and after a month or two I’d do this all over again and again. I’m in college now and still very rarely maybe once in 5-6 months use tinder sometime when I’m drunk after I’m back from a party or etc which is naive of me.
-After some research on dating app: (I’ll try to find the one particular article that explained things very well)
I came a cross this article that said that dating apps are so popular because it hooks people on the “anticipation” of getting matches and it’s a dopamine rush anytime we match with someone(note:it’s not important who match with, it’s just part about receiving a match notification that our brains loves). It explained exactly how I felt and we’re just idiots that eat this up and binge over swipes. This helped me get over the cycle and like I said I never use the app thanks to you guys and the red pill mindset. Although I do use it rarely when I’m super drunk so I don’t think I’m all the way there yet.
Feel free to: Share thoughts on my or your similar experiences or general thoughts, any thing else you guys might want to add.

I have no complaint against getting matches tho, I get my fair share and have no problem attracting girls but just the entire process of talking to them such a waste of my time and boring and draining.
But yea I do agree with that statement, I’ve been skinny and average looking and didn’t get much attention on dating apps it was after I worked out and etc the drastic change in matches took places which just showed me what a waste of time they are. So do you think blue pilled simps that waste that time on these apps waste so much time because they don’t get matches or do they stay simps even after getting good amount of matches?
