Anyways, ask yourself, would you like to be raised by this woman as your mother? Remember, half of his/her DNA will be yours, he/she will seek you out one day and have a lot of questions for you.

I've been in similar situations before, I can't stand the idea of half of my DNA being used and abused, I'd like to be a part of my children's lives and make sure they turn out decent at the very least. You're not playing a game here, you're creating an entirely new life which will have their own hopes, experiences and will eventually suffer as well, how much suffering depends on the parents of said child.

Even if I was completely positive in my mind I would have no financial liability I still wouldn't do it. I would have it on my mind for my whole life that I have a kid out there and I don't know them.

Don't know if they were abused as a child and I couldn't protect them. Don't know if they have questions about life that I wasn't there to answer. I just couldn't abandon my progeny like that.
