I love to get philosophical as the next man, but damn I can't stand when I'm making a valid argument with another man about setting goals, looking at reality for what it is, or providing social commentary, and the he simply says, "Well, it all depends on your perspective."

IMO it's a passive (feminine) aggressive way of disagreeing without being confrontational. Not even confronting the issue, but planting your head neck deep in rhetorical sand.
