What are some good ways to protect against a divorce rape? Not get married.

I know lowering the value of your property. You get the lower value part and she get the higher value part.

withdraw all extra cash and hide it, Tried 1000 time by both sides. Lie and piss of the court is not a good idea.

emergency ghosting plans. Run and hide? How long can you do that.

A good lawyer and split everything then go your own way. Arbitration is much cheaper,

Don't get married in the 1st place. If you DO swallow the blue pill, then have a pre-nup available. Have your assets linked to an LLC. Have a good relationship with a lawyer you trust. Make the fem know from day 1 that while you luuuv her, you are not to be fucked with and retribution will be swift and brutal. If u r in that bind then let's hatch a plan.

Start putting money in someone account should not be a women and the person should not be relative to u. ( Ur relatives can be deposed but other people can not be unless u have proof beyond reasonable doubt otherwise judges don't allow fishing expeditions)
Plan ahead, the divorce should not come as a surprise and planning should be done for at least five years. ( Ur wife must think she is the one filling it, more of a guilt trip)
Start making a budget for your household with a maximum allowance of no more than half ur wage. ( Will come handy to prove marital lifestyle, will help in alimony calculations)
Ask your wife to start working and document when ever u ask and if she does not agree send her notes about dire finance(judges don't impute wages on stay at home wives but u can prove u ask her to shoulder some but she refused).
Don't ever sign a fucking paper with her without going through ur lawyer.
Close all the life insurance policies. ( Judges tends to keep them for her future safety but u will be end up paying for the rest of your life).
Start taking notes on kids activities at least 2 years worth of you signing every single doctor, school or general appointments will be beneficial.
Try to dowsize ( need to show ur self poor)
Don't ever move out of the marital house ( judges tends to give her the house but u will be paying it plus they don't count ur rent payment in the APL (alimony pendent lite))
Follow all the orders of the judge even if it's against u. U have a right to appeal which can sort out the wrong orders but if u get in some judge nerve they will try to find u in contempt for any reason and label u discredit. And appeal courts don't bother. But will leave everything at the judge discretion.
Never miss a hearing and try to follow up on ur lawyer everyday even if he charge u for each call ( I have seen people leave everything at the lawyer discretion and sleep on it untill they are facing jail.)

Honestly, having been through this, the best possible thing is to make sure your wife makes as much money as possible during the marriage. Do NOT let her be a stay at home mom. If she’s out of the workforce for any significant amount of time, she will claim that she “supported you” all those years by “giving up her career, passion, dreams etc etc.”. She also “took care of the kids.” She also “can’t back into the workforce.” She needs “retraining” or to “go back to school.” Going back to school is even MORE time they aren’t producing money. That’s when divorce rape can REALLY kick into overdrive. Make sure she’s earning as much as possible throughout your marriage.

Assuming you are married you need to put cash aside over time. If you have a loan together change it to interest only if you can. Just run the bank account down over time so it looks like you have nothing when divorce hits. If you take it all at once the courts will know. They can’t touch Cash if they don’t know about it.

I think most people have covered it but personally I think the most important things anyone can do that can’t get you in bother are:

Make sure she is working and maximising her earning potential. This cannot he stressed enough. The more money she makes the less a regular guy will pay.

If you’re going to initiate, play a long game. Find out how alimony / whatever it’s called locally is calculated and consider downgrading your career temporarily if this will minimise it. Go part time to “spend more time with your kids” / look after an older relative. Whatever works.

Don’t do anything underhanded the court will frown upon. This included devaluing business assets etc. Do it perfectly or not at all.

If your country allows lifetime alimony get the fuck out of dodge before the minimum marriage period is up.

Record everything but don’t be stupid about where you keep it.

Never leave the marital home unless it’s ordered by the court.
