I live in a place (state) in India (birth place of Buddhism) where Buddhist monasteries are abundant. Being a MGTOW, I frequently go there. The tranquility and contentment that I see on the faces of those shaved headed monks sitting silently boils me down from inside. I envy them so much. How can someone have nothing and still be so happy? I seriously want to be one of them. But have to support old parents and can't leave job.

Happiness is not drilling countless pussies. Want to experience it? Go to Himalayas.

I've always asserted that Siddharta Gautama Buddha was the earliest MGTOW-esque proponent from Asia. It is important to note that unlike most mindless adherents of Buddhism today, Buddha never thought of himself as a god or that he should be worshipped.

Buddhist philosophy do not need the belief or disbelief in any god. What Buddhism does is to break down all your strongly held beliefs to get to the root of what it means to be you. If you take away everything that you identify yourself as, what is left is the real you, the you that matters.

To achieve this, Buddha recommends a way that is expediant to achieve a liberating way of life. Among these, is the detachment from society, hence, the orange garments.

What went wrong is when the masses, take Buddhist teachings literally, without exploring the nuances.

If i hadn't have kids (because my ex told me she was on the pill), i'd either commit suicide or go full monk mode in a monastery.

If you are unattractive and women spit on you. If you are socially damaged by all the bullying and crap other threw at you. What's the point in working your ass off to make society function ? You give a lot and get nothing in return while chad and tyrone enjoy life for being them.
