Once you go to college, anything that happened in the High School will mean zero. You will be shocked. You are not gonna believe it now anyway.

Next big shock is transition from college to the workforce (depending on how competitive your field is gonna be).

Most the people you know in school are gonna be stuck working at the grocery store or fast food.. plenty of the tough guys will develop drug addictions.. the girls will thot til they are thirty

No. When you’re older it’ll be like the way you look back at elementary school now. Everyone thought they knew everything and had it all figured out but really didn’t know as much as they thought.

It’s the last iteration of your high school hierarchy. If you do go remember the names of the women who ignore you. And the men who trashed on you.

So that when you become successful you know which frumpy broads to avoid banging. And which men to disavow building bridges of friendships out of their desire of your wealth.

It’s utterly worthless unless your goal is cement contacts for professional networking. Aside from that? It’s all irrelevant. Bunch of people being goofy and silly. Dress up and spend more money than they should on useless stuff.

Honestly if the goal is to make memories, that kind of money would be better served going on a trip with a small group of what you might call best friends and have a great time doing what you want.

No man dreams of the things involved in prom.

A lot of this stuff is because girls are missing out on a big social gathering. Other girls have had this, so the current batch feels 'robbed' of it. Even thirty years ago in high school they had some of the teachers older children that would take girls that couldn't get a date to the prom so they didn't 'miss out.' Guys without a date could just stay home and wank.

I graduated 10 years ago. Didn't go to prom. Had a gf at the time who graduated the previous year and had no interest in going, thank god. I was the only one of my friends to graduate. 10 years later all those buddies and cool kids are in/out of prison, hooked on drugs, cannot keep a job, they are all losers i cut contact with everybody except one. Trust me, 3 or 4 years after you graduate you will forget all about those people.

As a senior, it doesn’t really matter. You’ll get your diploma and then move on. I don’t really feel like I’m missing anything important.

Nope. I attended graduation, but the moment I got that piece of paper, I told myself good riddance. I am done.

I skipped prom. Some girls were interested and inquired, but I told them I was dating an 18 years old pornstar. That stopped them in their tracks.

Unless you peak in high school (which is a gateway for problems in life), no, it doesn't matter. In a year or so you won't remember the graduation anyway.
