No, there is no justice except the for that which we create ourselves. If you think otherwise, than take the universe, grind it down to the finest powder, and sieve it through the finest sieve, and show me one atom of justice, or one molecule of mercy.

Well assuming that god exist, what is the purpose of suffering. Surely an almighty being can design a perfect world that doesn't need such suffering. You have to assume that this is all either an evil joke, or simply for his own amusement , where's "justice" in that.
Better yet where's justice in taking a bet completely blindly weighting your soul on it. Never even having a single chance to see or feel him or know him. Just a chance to read some 2000 yr old text from some book. And a choice of 2000 other gods ,equally as fucked up as the other. The only way for god to exist is , if he's neither smart , nor omnipotent , he's not even morally good.

Finally who does god answer to his own transgressions? Clearly making people die for his own "plan" doesn't make the deed better. It's like creating a sandbox for an ant colony and then flooding it , just messed up. Creating you just so you could die in a pit of fire? Wouldn't you be better not existing at all? That alone makes the concept of hell fucked up and evil, even if you are satans spawn.

No, it is entirely subjective and ill-defined, and varies between cultures and systems of morality. Let me ask you a slightly different question: what is an act of justice? One that inflicts on you a consequence that is deemed commensurate (in its magnitude and quality) to one that you had previously inflicted on another sentient being deemed worthy of humane treatment. By this definition, acts of justice are not only extremely rare, but also dependent on the arbiter. If you're asking about cosmic/divine justice, see /u/ZeroBlink's comment. If a creator exists, it must be amoral and apathetic.

The idea of justice is incompatible with survival of the fittest. You cant have both. In order to have civilization, we have picked justice in the past.

Justice can only objectively exist if there’s an absolute authority that administers it; namely God. If there is no God then it does not exist. It’s that simple.

No, probably not. Some people will live long lives, hurt many innocent people, and in the end die peacefully in their beds. In all likelihood, there won't be a next life for them to pay for their evil deeds either -- they'll just be done.

Lots of Christians get off on the idea that the wicked will eventually receive "justice" in the afterlife. But really, for every murderous dictator who killed thousands of people, there are millions of people who muddled through life, doing the best they could. Do they all deserve to burn forever in eternal torment? That would be like getting the death penalty for a parking ticket.

Just try to find something to keep you busy during your finite time on this planet, because whether you were a saint or a sinner, you'll still end up dead and forgotten. Oh, and eat Arbys.

Even in atheist world there could be a possibility of eternal life and justice, if you also allow simulation theory. Our whole universe might be just a giant computer crunching numbers. No laws of physics prevent this as we know it. If so, thd programmer could relaunch your conciousness at any time in the future if you are worthy, or w/e.

Metaphysical justice, which is to say a justice that exists as an objective attribute of reality, is inextricably tied to a universal and infallible arbiter of morality which is necessarily incorruptible and incapable of being deceived. These attributes fall naturally under the descriptors of a deity. However, at least insofar as the purely Christian understanding of justice is concerned, there is not even then an expectation of justice during a person's life, only the expectation that the final reward of this or that individual will be commensurate with their conduct in life. If you are looking for metaphysical justice while you breathe, you're on a fool's errand.

I'm not the right person to help you with this issue, since I reject all of it. However, hear me out:

I know how you feel OP, been there and got past it. If you say "wallow in nihilism" it means you haven't fully accepted it yet. It means you feel like you're missing out on something. That's normal, for you to stop these thoughts, you'd have to trivialize everything in life to its simplest, purest form, then accept it as true and real. It's NOT easy.

It sucks the romanticism out of life and that's tough to deal with but trust me when I say, once you've accepted it, you can always "return" and you can "play" with the "norms" as you like, because you know it all to be made up bullshit.

I'm not going to try to convince you to either drop the fight or suck it up, although my personal recommendation to be: Embrace it. This shitty phase you're going through will only make you stronger in the long run. Worked for me.

Achieving the mental fortitude to see everything for the absolute laughable bullshit that it is, then still laugh in its face because of that, is pretty amazing.
