Just got back home from a year in Australia and have been thinking about what to do next. With the quarantine it's given me plenty of time to think about things and I wanted to discuss them here instead of being in a secluded think tank echoing my own thoughts to myself. My question for you is what is our end game? The two things I can see is space exploration, moving from planet to planet colonizing the stars, and pursuit of immortality however both seem pointless. Hopping from rock to rock is a game that has no end in itself and finding a way to live forever could be catastrophic as it would rid us of the greatest motivator we have to do anything being death. What are your guys thoughts? What is humanities endgame to you? What are things that you believe are worth pursuing?
