Another thing I find distasteful in modern society is the trend towards women publicly discussing their miscarriages. Whatever happened to grieving in private? It'll be said that women need support, but nobody doubts that there are ways of finding support without splashing this stuff over social media. Support can be obtained from close friends, family and professionals. What the hell is a vague Facebook acquaintance or work colleague going to do for you other than reopen old wounds?

If I had a wife then I would object to her broadcasting this sort of private and sensitive stuff over social media. In my opinion it's a sign of low value and of social decline. We even have former royals doing it. Abortions are next, in fact that's probably arrived long ago. At the same time miscarriages are probably on the rise due to the increase in older women (35-40+) trying to conceive. Do we really need other people's (including celebrity) miscarriage experiences in our faces all the time? How about some more value placed on the option of deal with suffering and misfortune privately.
