He may be right (I disagree on the abortion thing but give him a pass). BUT the failures with this kind of thinking is that all the laws are in favor of women in both situations.

Abortion is legal. The state controls child support. This is the reality.

So the sad reality is nobody cares about you in such situations. Good luck arguing this with the judge. It is one of the reddest pills that can ever be taken.

If abortion is the choice, something has already gone wrong.

I remember watching a discussion between Jordan Peterson and Sam Harris when it dipped into ritual sacrifice and ritual human sacrifice.

The fact that they were both happy we had moved past that largely as a species.

How could these two have such a disconnect that they can't see the overwhelming human sacrifice taking place because of the 'inconvenience' of child raising?
