The older women get, and the more they are confronted with the harsh realities of life and death, the deeper they descend into the abyss of denial and fantasy. That fact is reflected in everything they do including the clothes they wear, the magazines they read, the movies they watch, the celebrities they idolize, the products they purchase, etc. The advertising industry is a good barometer of just how psychotic and delusional women become as they age. Look at the products and services that are marketed to women in television and magazine advertisements. Then consider the tactics that are used to market those products and services. They invariably are designed to appeal to a woman's delusional vanity and emotional instability, and her total inability for objective rational thought. And the harder the realities of life hit them, the deeper they go into denial and the more delusional they become.
