Feminists claim "they want equality for all regardless of sex and if you believe that you're a feminist". And then I find them saying shit like:

"I consider 'feminists' to be people who are activists or at least play some sort of more active role in supporting women or subverting gender norms." (http://archive.is/5iDzq)

"I have no problem with cis-men identifying as feminist. I do, however, have a problem with cis-men seeking leadership positions in feminist organizations and movements. If you're going to be a male ally, learn to be an ally and step back." (http://archive.is/M6p2y)

They claim it is about equality of sexes and in the same breath they'll say it is a movement focused on empowering women (conveniently leaving out men). This is why I'll never call myself a feminist even though I am an egalitarian. I'm pretty sure most of us here are for equal legal rights for both men and women which has already been achieved in many countries. Meanwhile, some countries have gone as far as to give more rights to women than men; with women still screeching for more.
