HAHAHA!! The hilarity of this is the assumption that the only reason businesses prefer to hire men over women is because of potential pregnancy. LOL I've worked in the corp U.S. for over 30 years now and I can tell you without a DOUBT that is only the beginning. No.1 reason? Women don't show up for work. They come in when they please, make one thousand excuses (this seems to be women's only real skill- is in how to get out of work, make excuses, deflect responsibility- otherwise their brains are utterly useless) whether it's their never ending vacations, out sick, outside commitments to something else, doesn't matter, for whatever the reason, women are always just GONE.

And then women suddenly will quit out of nowhere suddenly without any warning at all. Seen it a million times. Suddenly it's, "Well, I've just decided work isn't 'fulfilling' to me," while we as men don't even have an option. LOL Or she's going to do some other flaky crap like move to another country. Face it; women are FLAKES. Mentally and emotionally unstable and COMPLETELY UNRELIABLE. And women run screaming from accountability and responsibility and can't even get their priorities straight.

What is the first thing you can assume about someone who is petty? That's right, they can't get their priorities straight because they're making trivial issues IMPORTANT. Which means whatever is important in their lives is not getting the necessary amount of attention and thus why they're fucking LOSERS. Or some low paid floor manager, same thing.

That is the REAL reason why only 2% of CEOs are women, 6% of CFOs, 3% of COOs, etc. And of course women don't actually do any WORK. They don't even do office work- you might find one or two who will do data entry/typing, but that's rare now - women can't sit still long enough- they're like children. In any office, regardless of the industry, men are still doing 100% of all of the work and certainly all of the necessary work if not 100%. Women never have any skills and usually horrible at sales. Women suck at everything and just plain SUCK all around as employees, as people as EVERYTHING. That is NOT how I 'see' women, that is what women PROJECT and what they ARE.

Feminists realize nobody is buying their "pay gap is a result of sexism" crap anymore, so now they're just trying to force men to underachieve so that their own mediocrity seems less pronounced.

That really goes to show you just how far they are willing to go in order to maintain their delusions without having to actually exert any additional effort themselves.

This proposed law would only affect men who are married or cohabiting with an expectant woman, single men would not be affected so a possible side effect of a rule like that is that more employers will prefer single men as a result of this law.

Even ignoring all of the economic things, this dumb bitch (not surprisingly) hasn't properly thought through the consequences TO WOMEN of her little "brain fart".

-- Per example, let's say Woman "A" (let's call her "Anna") gets pregnant.

Which guy gets forced to take the "mandatory leave for x amount of days" (i.e. be forbidden from working, and possibly being bereft of pay)... will it be guy "B" ("Bob") or guy "C" ("Charlie"), or maybe it's "Dave" or "Eddie"... Frank or George? Harry or maybe it's Ian, possibly Justin, Kevin, Larry...

And then how do we know which guy is the father? Do we just go by whatever name (or is it names, plural) that "Anna" puts down on some form? What if "Anna" refuses to name anyone at all? (Possibly because she doesn't KNOW.)

Do we (Gasp! Oh Noes!) force -- aka "mandate" -- a DNA based "paternity" test to confirm it? And what if "Anna" objects? How many men in her "social circle" (work, friends, family members) do we mandate to be "tested" as the potential father? (After all, this is intended to FORCE at least ONE man to go on "leave" for every pregnant woman, right... ergo if no man is "flagged," then the law is ineffective.)

What then do we do if/when we find out that "Anna" named the wrong man/men? Was she simply "mistaken/confused" (after all, she went through half the alphabet of guys in the coat closet at the company ~~Christmas~~ erm excuse me "Winter Solstice Holiday" party -- and she can't quite remember which ones she blew, which ones fucked her in the vajayjay, and which ones she let in her back door).

Or did she possibly have OTHER motives? Did she simply LIE (i.e. commit perjury & false testimony) and name her boss? Perhaps she named the leader or key engineer of some opposing "project" team, hoping to derail the project; a whole host of potential malicious motives (and negative consequences for men) now become possible.

Also, WHEN does this "mandatory leave" become active? Is it only AFTER the birth of the child? Or is it BEFORE the child is born? What if she miscarries? Aborts? And if this is all BEFORE birth, then what if she was never actually "pregnant" at all, but simply suffered from a "phantom/false pregnancy" (and yes that IS indeed a "thing" -- less so in the days of ultrasound confirmations, but still, it happens).
