A week or two ago I wrote about the fact that I've had inside knowledge of two stories that made the international news, and in both cases the initial stories were wrong in at least some important details.

The same thing happened here: the initial reports were that the cops thought is was some sort of domestic dispute, but subsequent reports show that it was about her YouTube channel getting demonetized, and she didn't know the people she shot (or anyone else who works there, as far as I can tell). Of course the feminists immediately seized on the original false report, because their go-to strategy in such cases is to say the man must have been an abuser and the woman was acting out of "proactive" self defense. (In fact, the discredited "Duluth" organization is very specific about their belief that men commit violence against women because they are bad people, while women commit violence against men because men are bad people. The term "non-falsifiable comes to mind for some reason.)

Here's what we think we know as of now:

The shooter was female and appears to have acted alone.
She thought that her YouTube channel was demonetized (which might be true).
She was into a wide variety of hard-left "causes."
She came to the US from a Muslim country with a history of exporting terrorists.
The shooting spree took place in a "gun-free" zone.
Her family warned the authorities and they ignored it.
When seconds count, the police are only minutes away.
The only "assault rifles" on the scene were those brought by the cops.
