Long post incoming, you have been warned.

Found out about MGTOW a couple of months ago, didn't really see what the fuss was all about then. My eyes are a little more open now and these are just my thoughts on the matter.

I never really got the whole, the world's a fucked up place bit in the past, sure you get hints of it if you just look around, homeless people sleeping in the streets, the elderly having to work till they're six feet under just so they can die with some dignity left to them. I used to be told the world was a cold and cruel place and once you're out there in the real world, ain't nobody gonna protect you. You just gotta fight for your own piece of heaven in the world or the world's just gonna stand by and watch you die.

I thought I understood that but it never really sunk in. Not gonna lie, I'm a privileged person, got a roof over my head, warm food in my belly, a wonderful family with two loving parents. No debt to my name, a relatively bright future and the best of friends to spend time with. Got my family, got my friends, got my hobbies and no downside in sight, pretty good life.

Then one day I woke up and the world was just a little less bright. Didn't quite catch why it was at the time but I'm piecing it together now. The world's a right fucked up shit hole and no matter how damn well you're isolated from it either by your own actions or the actions of others, some of that crap's gonna sink in.

​

No woman's screwed me out of house and home yet but ironically, the one who came closest to that was one of my best friends. My bro. Someone i'd take a bullet for, he screwed all us over for shits and giggles. I thought we were friends, I thought that meant looking out for one another, not shooting everyone else in the back for a few bucks.

​

He always gave the impression that he was a family first kind of guy, and when you think you know someone, you find out he pretty much scammed his own family members out of their life savings before targeting you.

​

All about that sweet sweet cash amirite? Fuck everyone who gets hurt in the process, I just want the money to enjoy a life I don't intend to work for, just gotta leech of everyone else.

​

Majority of the posts here claim that females do this all the time, marry a chump, divorce him and rob him blind, then find some other poor soul to milk dry. And while they're still together, use the man as a slave while finding others to sleep around with.

​

Can confirm, this behavior is not limited to just women. Ex-bro found pretty much the perfect girlfriend, rich heiress of a millionaire businessman, enough money to never work a day in her life, good in the kitchen, housework and pretty much everything you'd expect a homemaker to be. And to top it off, inherited the business sense and acumen from her old man.

Poor soul gave everything up for him, dropped out of university, strained relations with the rest of her family just to be with him, practically his live in maid at this point. A maid that doubles as a blank cheque. Just to give you an idea of how much money she has available, the first time he brought her over to my house for a bbq, I hated the idea. It's a time for bros, what the hell is a woman doing intruding? A complete stranger to boot, she's gonna kill the fun.

Well, we're an understanding bunch, we let her in, be civil and all that, no need to be assholes, there's always next time. She was considerate enough to think of that and so brought 'gifts'. $1000 worth of beef imported from Japan. And I shit you not but that was just pocket change for her.

​

You'd think he'd be smart enough to not fuck around when he's got someone like that. Nope, got to play around, why? cause I can, duh. Relationships on the rocks, cash flow in danger, what to do? Rob everyone else blind, damn the consequences.

​

Didn't want to believe he could do something like that, but there's no denying the evidence. Not when the fucker blatantly admits to trying to run a scam when he thinks nobody is listening.

​

Long story short, I woke up and saw that the world was full of assholes and I'm a bad judge of character. My dad used to tell me, watch who you hang out with, bad guys don't walk around with the words tattooed on their faces. Trust the wrong person and bam. If you're lucky you might be able to dig yourself out of whatever grave they buried you alive in.

​

As I said earlier, I haven't been personally screwed by any woman yet and with any luck I'll never be. I just know this, the world's a shitty place and too many are willing to stick knives into your back if they think it'll get them ahead. There are no male assholes or female assholes, there are however assholes aplenty and chances are you keep more than a few of them in your company just because they haven't outed themselves yet.

​

I'm not fully subscribed to MGTOW as it is but I believe in a variation of it. I'm not swearing off relationships with women completely since everyone is unique and it's impossible to pigeonhole every individual you meet. Some are great people, some are the worst monsters you'll ever meet. But that's true of all people, not just a single gender.

​

The most important thing is being careful in who you deal with, men, women, corporate it doesn't matter. Don't trust blindly, but also don't judge everyone negatively instantly. People tend to live up or down to your expectations. Trust is a valuable commodity and shouldn't be handed out like freebies, others have to earn it first before you give it. And always, always do your due diligence to protect yourself.

​

Self-determination, self-actualization, pretty good points. You only live once, don't waste your life away fighting a never-ending war, do what makes you happy... subject to two important corollaries.

1.) It ain't illegal

2.) It doesn't hurt anyone else, you know the golden rule

TLDR

Assholes are everywhere and come in all shapes, sizes and genders. Do your best to protect yourself and always watch your back. Also, do what makes you happy, the pursuit of happiness is a basic human right. Just don't break any laws or screw over anyone else and we're good.

​

These are just my thoughts on the matter. If any woman is reading this, no I do not hate all women. I'm just a very jaded individual who occasionally wakes up without his jade glasses. And really, when you break it all the way down, MGTOW as a way of life is pretty applicable to everyone, not just men. If you disagree and feel the need to insult me... feel free. I won't reply, this is probably the only post I'll make. I am Noeins, no one... but a thought.
