I was doing my morning walk and while I'm heading back home I see an elder man who's about to going in his house, keys out. He turns and sees me walking so I do the polite wave/gesture and the usual "Good morning". He greets me back and says he thought I was his son who is 23 which I tell him I'm 17 . He begins telling me how his son was supposed to arrive and mentions he's married, which was really random for me at the moment. I was surprised because out of nowhere he says "Don't get married. You're young so realize it now." Proceeds to tell me how his son is a dumbass and that his girlfriend took their child and possessions/money and went to a different city and now his son his to live with him. He also mentions that the mom won't let him live with her. I'm sure that confirms that he divorced his wife. Said our goodbyes and I'm sure I'll likely see him again since my route goes past his house.

I rarely interact with people, excluding family, so it's super surprising that my first conversation, after a while, was with a MGTOW.
