When I was in my early 20’s I had a pretty good job and lived in a two bedroom apartment with a guy roommate. Pretty much normal for that age. Drank a lot of beer and had a lot of parties. The apartment was a three story balcony. I lived on the second floor. One day a female I had never met before knocked on the door and asked for my roommate. He wasn't home so she decided to wait. After we were chatting for awhile my roommate finally showed up with another girl and went to his room. She was pissed because she thought she was going to be hooking up with him. So not to be rude I invited her to go with me to pick up some pizza and bring it back to the apartment. She accepted and off we went. When we got back, we finished off the pizza and beer and she ended up staying the night with me. The next morning we had breakfast and she brought up the fact that she had dated the musician that lived below me and he broke up with her a few months ago. What she said next was my first experience I can remember with female behavior. She said, ”I really liked him because I saw his check book and it had a balance of $5,000 dollars.” A few weeks later she called me and wanted to know if I had a girlfriend and if not would I like to go out? I said no, I didn't have a girlfriend but I wasn't interested. Without realizing it I had taken my first small step to becoming MGTOW.
