I've actually noticed something before in these sorts of situations, women always want to call you when you're fucking pissed off at some unforgivable thing they've done to you. Most likely because they can more efficiently appeal to your emotions in a phone conversation. At least, that's my theory.

They always do that. They use your own emotions against you. That's why if you want to maintain any kind of relationship, even a pump and dump one, you cannot show any emotion. They claim to want openness from men but when men open up to them, the women see them as beneath them from then on. They think of you as scum because instead of being some emotionless statue or totem, they realize that you're a real fucking human being with actual thoughts. Make no mistake, if you do as they ask and 'open up' and be emotional around them, they will see you as weak and will be seeking the next branch to swing onto. However, that will not stop them from attempting to use your own emotions and thoughts against you if they want something from you.

Thus why it's not even worthwhile to attempt to maintain any sort of relationship. Who the fuck wants to, or is even able to, act like some kind of emotionless, unfeeling, unthinking robot all of the time?

EDIT: In addition, to open up goes against the essential male interest. Masculinity isn't about being emotionally 'open' and sobbing all the time over stupid, trivial matters as women often do. Of course there is absolutely nothing wrong with being emotional, but it goes against everything men are usually brought up on. Stoicism is an essential part of masculinity. The world is burning down around you, people are shouting at you, asking for help, lightning and rain crashing down? You're supposed to be stoic and courageous and unaffected, calm. So they want you to go against your own interests and instincts and nature, and then when you do, they shame you for it or use it to their advantage against YOU. Not a winning hand. So when women say that they want you to be more open, more emotionally available, etc. so that they can support you? Really what they want you to do is show them your cards so that they can rake in the pot or fold before they lose all of their shit.
