We all have animal instincts, because we are all animals. The degree to which we have free will is dependent on our ability or willingness to think critically, honestly, objectively, and logically and act on it. No one has total free will and no one has zero free will. You have to make the conscious decision to develop it and express it. Sure, on a population scale, your ability to think and act on it will be environmentally influenced, but every person has the ability to still do so indepedent of their environment and on an individual level. These are my thoughts at least. What do you think?
