Guys, to be honest. I am not a MGTOW. I am married, got a child and am for marriage IF you meet the right woman. Which I will admit is harder and harder these days. However, having said that, one can NOT deny certain points brought up by MGTOW community and MRAs. So here is a thought from the Bible that I came across. Now some of you guys might not be religious or of a certain faith so I will try not to be pushy on this. Think of it as just a thought and take it at that. No offense intended to anyone.

So let's look at the story of Adam and Eve. That is at the beginning of the bible in Genesis chapter 1. I am specifically looking at the order of creation in chapter 2 though. So to shorten the story up a bit, basically it says that God created everything (e.g. moon, stars, water, clouds, plants) Then the bible says, "And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul. " So man was created first.

Then this is where it gets odd. I have never read it this way before. This is verses 18 - 20 "

18 And the Lord God said, It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him an help meet for him.

19 And out of the ground the Lord God formed every beast of the field, and every fowl of the air; and brought them unto Adam to see what he would call them: and whatsoever Adam called every living creature, that was the name thereof.

20 And Adam gave names to all cattle, and to the fowl of the air, and to every beast of the field; but for Adam there was not found an help meet for him."

What in the world? God decided that the man should have some help so he created the animals. Then he brought them before Adam for them to be named, but Adam did not find a "help meet". Now the first thing that screamed out at me is that God created animals second to be a companion, friend or helper to Adam. Never read it that way before.

However, the decision was made that none of them fit the bill good enough and that is when God created the first woman.

Odd that the first thing was to look for help in the animals that were created. Guess that is why we have man's best friend and beasts of burden. Funny observation I had.
