What is the general view of relationships that don’t lead to marriage on this subreddit? I have a long-term girlfriend and we don’t want natural-born kids and neither of us want to get legally married at any point. The only reason marriage would ever come up as an possibility is if we wanted to adopt kids, which can only be done in our state if the parents are single or lawfully married. We’ve been together for almost two years, we are in our twenties and everything is going pretty well but I am no stranger to the unpredictable nature of life. That said, what things should I look out for as the relationship moves forward?
