Tried in juvenile court at 20. I'm not black, but there's plenty of black guys tried as adults at 14 or 15. She won't get substantial jail time if any

Yes, it was Juvenile court and Juvenile records can be expunged when you turn 18. Her conviction will instantly be expunged and she will have a clean record. The Judge knew this, handed down the verdict knowing its meaningless.
