nofap is really good for dudes who lack discipline. at the end of the day everything is sexual energy. if your sexual energy is being overspent on a woman who you don't get anything out of her, then yes spending your "source" on her is a complete waste.

The "average" man -- even somewhat nutritionally deprived -- is probably capable of ejaculating at least once per day.

If he had a spouse that he impregnated... well that took her "out of the game" (in terms of each subsequent ejaculation successfully leading to a child) for at least 9 months, and more likely a full year.

Ergo even with a highly fertile wife, having multiple children, well during the best/peak years only about 1:365 ejaculations would lead to a child.

So male ejaculate is more like fruit from a tree... only rarely does a tiny fraction of it ever get "planted"; and even less of it ever actually grows into a new tree. (There is a reason sperm/semen is referred to as a "seed" and the whole plowing/planting metaphor exists for sex.)
