story time.

this is 100% true but you will think it's bullshit, i was in an "international conference skills" presentation/workshop at work once because we deal with lots of European countries all centred around policies etc (sort of like government) and so we are often negotiating and liasing with lots of external European countries agencies etc.

this workshop was to give us greater awareness and understanding of how to better work in that environment and understand cultural and language barriers in negotiations etc.

the female presenter started by showing a few pictures and asking people how they would feel or what would they do if they saw this and showed a picture (to illustrate some countries social norms which are different from country to country)

one of them was this picture and she asked "what would you say if you saw this?"

quick as a flash i honestly said aloud "does she have a sister?" and everyone laughed.

what made it even better was my girlfriend (at the time) was in the same workshop and she was trying not to laugh.

and remarkably that was actually the most politically correct job i ever had which was stricter and more ridged than most.

either i was good looking enough to get away with it or i was lucky that the audience were not a bunch of cunts.
