Say this;

“I’ll marry if/when there are as much protections and bias under the law for men/husbands/fathers, as there are for women.

Until and unless you can convincingly refute the bias, and skewed laws, I see no reason to allow myself to that much liability to lose half or more of my income / retirement / and possessions.”

It shuts them up, and their only way forward is to say something like “but whut about children? Whut about dying alone?”

Recite the % of men losing custody, and divorce rates, and say with absolute finality to drop it.

I keep it simple and true, I usually say that I’m a solitary person which can’t get used to couple life, and that I prefer my freedom. Never had a problem with that, and you will see that married people or those having family will often say they envy your freedom.
