My local racquet club has a facebook group and I posted an invitation on there inviting anyone who wanted to reserve a court to play tennis on Wednesday nights to message me. I was hoping to get at least 3 people with that night free which is a slow night for some reason.

Quickly got a private message back from a female member:

“I have Wednesdays FREE so I’ll join the group but...only if it is Strictly Platonic!!!”

WTF. Nothing in my invitation said anything about dating, nor did it ask specifically for females, or that the group was anything more than tennis. I didn’t even know who this woman was until I looked her up. She is a 47 year old divorced woman who looks like she hit the wall about 15 years ago. This pissed me off enough that I haven’t written back to her and am trying to figure out how to respond.

Who the fuck is stroking these women’s egos to the point where they’re all walking around acting like they are now highly desired runway models?

Then it hit me: This is what social media simp thirst and the #metoo hysteria is doing. With enough doting from simps online, women are walking around assuming every guy desperately wants in their pants. It makes me sick.

I’m hoping some other people will show interest in that night so I can tell this old roastie to piss off. Widespread MGTOW would fix this societal problem really quick.
