I'm a big believer in the concept that the only real power women have over men is getting our attention. If you take that away, women disappear into the white background noise of life, freeing us to focus on the things that matter. One of the biggest pains of modern internet culture is how it is designed to allow women to spam us with their screeching clickbait - duck face profile pics, hashtags and other fluff. A few years ago it was difficult to filter this out, but there are actually good options for squelching the cacophony. Here are some of mine, hoping you guys can contribute some of yours
1) I unfollow every woman on Facebook, but still remain friends to avoid social complications of unfriending women I actually know in real life. To them, I'm merely quiet on Facebook. Occasionally Facebook will recommend some retarded cause like "help girls to code", actively block it, it won't bother you again, and there's a limit to how many of these initiatives they can make.
2) Avoid contacts with women on LinkedIn, especially recruiters/job offers. I'm a coder with a strong entrepreneurial streak, basically the perfect guy to hire as engineer#1 on your startup, I get a lot of job offers and am pretty picky. I ignore all female founders, as well as all recruiters. Female recruiters have bait profile pictures - they're good looking and try to smile their way into a pitch. I delete silently where I can, politely turn down when I'm in a corner. I got this far by being professional and polite, but that doesn't mean I'm not picky. I of course actively avoid being social with female colleagues - let's be honest here, avoiding women will never hurt your career, but if you spend time with them, all it takes is one off-color statement or move and your career is scuttled.
3) Actively block all feminist stuff on Twitter with the "filter function. I use Twitter a lot to keep up with creative and coding profiles, it's great for that, but occasionally someone retweets some #metoo crap etc. My twitter filter list (both phrases and profiles) is massive, and it works. I almost never see this junk anymore. Filters need to be actively maintained - occasionally I'll see a retweet of some actress or other insignificant woman famous because of her face, block her immediately and boom, she never existed.
4) Actively block/ignore the likes of Jezebel, the Guardian, the Atlantic or other compromised sites. I'm a leftist myself, so my social circle tends to be more cluttered with this. Chrome has plugins that will actively block you navigating to sites if you click on a link without checking it first, or get redirected here. Use it. These sites are not changing the world by actually doing things, you won't miss anything.
5) Block the "female protagonist" tag on Steam, that clears a lot of the noise out. It doesn't block everything, but it mostly works.
6) I watch a lot of tech talks, musicians and makers on youtube. Every female vlogger I've stumbled across is riding her looks (dolled up face, lots of cleavage etc) when her video should actually be a single frame. Youtube is always recommending their stuff, but you can actively block these if you're on the youtube homepage. Don't bother giving a reason, it might take a while but eventually youtube will run out of profiles to recommend, and you can enjoy more quality in your suggested feeds. The sidebar also lets you block particular titles, bye bye all quota-driven female-presented tech talks.
7) Never post on Instagram, though some of the posts there are Playboy quality and good for jerk material. You don't have to be logged on to grab pics, it goes in the hardcore porn folder which is extra fun because all these girls think their posts are "empowering" them when all they are is free nameless wank fuel.
8) Why are you even on Tumblr, seriously? What is wrong with you?
