Be an asshole. Do what you want. Live the life you want to. If he's being toxic, you don't have to complain about it like a woman would, but you can simply be like "naw, I don't want to hang out." "sorry, I'm busy today. I have better things to do." "I'm going to focus on some business stuff. My future is important."

Those things will constantly tell him that he's not in the picture of your future anymore and he'll fade away like sand. And if he throws a fit, you can fully understand that he's not the brother you thought he was, because a good guy would be happy that you are focusing on your future.

Never care about another person's feelings towards you. Your happiness is paramount.

One suggestion I can give you is that having simp friends is fine, up to the point when they inevitably run into some bad financial situation and want you to bail them out

From stories I've heard and seen, as soon as your friend asks for a large sum of money for some stupid descision, that friendship is over anyway. You will likely not see your friend or the money again

As hard as it is, just remember you don't owe anyone anything

You never lose when you cut off a toxic person. Go out alone and meet new friends. I recently did this and I had to trust the process.

There's a tone to your voice. He'll ask to make plans and just say "ya! Sure! Sounds good!" And then don't follow up. It'll take a few times, then longer spans between attempts.

Things that he did include: trying to sell my gift, didnt want to do a simple favour of ordering a 10$ item that wouldve costed me 40, ditched a chill out night so he can go fk a girl that he already fked during the week or could do other day, list goes on

Ps we known each other for 10 years which makes it harder
