Sometimes I feel like men become misogynists once they realize that the feminist lies they've been told about women are are lies.

Like, men are told that women have different attitudes and preferences and are all unique individuals ... then they realize that they are all hypergamous and submissive, wanting 50 shades of Chad and so on.

Or, men are told about "toxic masculinity" and that they should give up masculinity and not only care about money, career etc. and then they realize that all women are hypergamous who are only interested in dominant men with money and status.

Sometimes people say that young men, despite being more liberal in regards to religion, abortion, race, homosexuality and so on, they are more misogynist than old men. If that's true, I wonder if it's because in the past men were told fewer lies about women. Like, in the past men might have been told that they need money and dominance to get and occasionally spank a girl in order to keep her etc.

Bitterness and cynicism often come from jaded idealists. Many men these days grow up as idealists and then become bitter.
