I have been a lurker for a few years now and have decided to officially join to make this post.

UK based. I am projecting very far into a possible future here:

If my sibling gets married to a girl, then my parents pass away and leave the house to my brother and me, and should they get divorced, will my sibling's hypothetical ex-wife get any share of the family house? What can I do to make sure she gets zero?

This is a high value detached house, filled with happy memories, and my parents, who moved to the UK, have sacrificed so much to acquire this and ensure we have better lives than they did.

I do not intend to sell the house until the day I die ( do not plan on getting married) but worried of what could happen.
