I pay rent for a whole house 1 year upfront in bulk, and then charge housemates for each room I rent out so that I make my money back and live for free.

The women will never care for increasing equity in a home. Just like credit cards they want to pay the minimum and leave the growing mess for later.

Absolutely do not think a women will pay her share. Once shes pregnant, it's all your problem because she thinks you deserve a lifetime of pain for her to deliver the baby, even with an epidural and csection.

If you want to generate wealth and a 25% down payment at 30k? No car, ramen, and a basement appartment

You're going to have to put your nose to the grindstone and churn out a few thousand dollars.

With no woman as a distraction or pursuit, your education and career, and maybe even a side hustle should be your focus.

Getting to your first five to ten thousand dollars should take a quarter of a year, if you are focused, unless you are divided in focus for like education.

When I bought my house the market was in the tank, but I was making about 40k at the time. I just had to live extra frugally to save up. Plus I had some bonuses that I saved up.

I'm now making double that. Between the housing market and the complete remodel, my house is now worth 2.5 what I paid, and I'm making double payments.

It just takes time, discipline, and thinking ahead.

Live within your means...you're probably living in the city, that's how prices get jacked up sky high.

It's not your fault, this is just the current economic climate. Women entering the workforce has forced wages lower, while increasing prices because they all hive-minded want to come to the same area/city.

Living with a woman will not help, they will drain you even more.

If your line of work allows, move to a small town in the Midwest. I make just over $13/hr and paid $13k cash for my 925 sq-ft, 2BR house. Property tax is $275/yr. At any given time, there are 5-10 houses on the market around here for under $20k. Older homes that might need a little fixing up, but more than livable as is. EDIT: Yes, I'm single as well.

Listen, there are hundreds of houses out there for like 20-30k; they're small, sure, but the mortgage payment would be less than rent. It's about making realistic decisions.

rent out a room...it won't be someone who will take your house away when she's done with you, and you can kick them out if they don't hold up their part of the bargain. Simple.

Stay away from women 5+ years, only work for jobs that you enjoy doing, work hard and earn those promotions, have other job offers lined up and take them if you don't get the promotion you deserve, learn how to repair stuff and buy a fixer upper house that you can repair yourself. You will have a lot more money and the down payment will be nothing.

I've almost got my house paid off in full. Well on my way to being out of the rat race and on to an early retirement.
