I'm 25. Never had sex, and never kissed anyone. Graduated college a few years ago and have had a great job for almost 3 years. If all goes well, I should be able to retire by 45, or at least be at the point where money isn't much of a concern for the rest of my life.

I've thought about hiring an escort or hooking up with a woman at a club a number of times in my early 20s. Each time I do a mental projection of what would happen, and think of all of the bad things that could happen days, months, or years later. This woman could target me somehow. If she learns that I'm rich enough to try to extort, or pin kids on me that aren't mine, she'd do it. She could falsely accuse me of rape, give me an STD through sex, etc. Sounds pretty bad to me. So I always bail.

There was one time in my early 20s where I was at a club with a friend just having fun. Some really attractive girl started grinding on me and running her hands through my hair. She also massaged my neck which was interesting. When I turned around I thought about playing with her hair or what I was going to do to respond to her advances (unless she was just messing with me which is also possible), and when my mind thought about all of the awful things this encounter could have led to, I bailed. Straight up walked out of the bar and left her hanging. Sometimes when I get horny I remind myself of that night and the reasons why I avoid women. The sex can't be worth all of the potential agony that follows.

So for the last 3 years or so, I've been a ghost. I go about my business at work and then I do my own thing. I have a few outdoor hobbies that keep me happy. I enjoy spending time with family. Simplicity keeps me happy and sane. I do my best to avoid women to the point that not very many people know who I am outside of the workplace.

I will never own a million dollar house, or a 100 thousand dollar car. It's not my style, especially since it attracts attention. I don't buy expensive things in general. Having a diversified portfolio for security is the way to go, for me.

Of course it's a bit sad that this is the reality of 2020 as a man, but sometimes you have to take a look at the world and pick the option that will make you the most happy, with the lowest risk of getting your life ruined. This is that path for me.
