I get why women give fake numbers, or just never respond. They are afraid men will react badly, get angry, make a scene, maybe even get violent. I get it. As a man who doesn't do that, it fucking hurts. I was talking to this girl, and I thought we were hitting it off well. I asked if she wanted to meetup on the weekend, she said sure. I wrote down my number, she wrote down hers. I call her up the next day; number not in service. I fucking hurts. Am I just some horrible monster that women need to placate so they can get out of the same room as me? Am I just some horrible fucking monster?
