Alright guys I need some advice.

I'm currently 20 and I attend a CC on scholarship for an Associate's Degree in Construction. I work FT retail making somewhat decent money for the job I do. I have a lot saved up (17k) and I'm looking for a way to get a better job preferably in the Construction industry. I'm leaning towards the professional route since I'm still attending school and the lack of labor intensive trade jobs being available rn because it's winter. I painted houses over the summer but I was treated poorly because I am just a "college kid that thinks I should become a manager because I have a degree" and I would much rather not deal with that type of energy while I'm still in college. I have a great resume and I need a route going into 2020 because the job I'm currently at isn't the type of experience I want to continue to have since I'm just an Inventory Coordinator in a produce department. I do want to start a business or invest in property too in the future so that's why I am continuing to find a way to make more money working for someone too. Any advice would be appreciated!
