Every woman I have ever been in a relationship with has cheated on me. And I get it, I didn't have the best standards or the highest level of confidence before. But I never let it affect me. Never hated all women for what they did. I just decided to work on myself and never let them back into my life. After I broke up with the last one a year ago figured I could still be friends with women. Nope. Every woman I got close to in college broke up with me at the end of the semester without fail. I kept my boundaries with them, I didn't pursue them for sex or try to get them to leave their partners for me. I was there for them like an older brother and for my efforts I was rejected, ghosted, broken up with, and blocked.

What lead up to this decision?

The closest thing I had to a female friend just blocked me on Twitter tonight, because I said her boyfriend wasn't attractive in a DM conversation. This coming from a 33yo weeaboo cosplayer that cheated on him and DM's other men to complain about how miserable she is with him. She had to drag me after this and complain that people online were being mean to her. I tried to apologise on an alt and she blocked me on there too. All she ever wanted to do was talk about how she missed the dude she cheated with and talk about how miserable she was. But we talked pretty regularly and everything was fine before this. I know it seems like a trivial matter I shouldn't be complaining about but this was last bastion of hope for having any kind of relationship with a woman I cared about, platonic or otherwise.

So, that was the last straw for me. It's time for monk mode.

I know what you're thinking, but I'm not a typical "nice guy." I'm a veteran in my early 30's and I've dealt with a lot of extremely traumatic events in my life. So, I have learned to be stoic and not take things to heart. Even with this I am not overly emotional, I am just done. I can be a jerk, but I try not to be. I hold people I care about accountable for their actions and that's why this keeps happening with immature people. I've had my fun in relationships, I've done my part to be good to others and do into them and such, and I'm just sick of trying and getting taken advantage of. I've been into MGTOW for a couple of years but I think I'm finally ready put myself first.
