What really amuses me is that subreddit had absolutely no empathy for a Man that got completely mauled by these laws, that thought death was easier than putting up with this hell. They could only call him selfish, a jerk, egotistic. *shrug* Hard to get violent with your spouse if you don't have one, right? I've joked about invoking "until death do us part" as the cheaper option of settling a divorce, but meh. If it were truly a big problem, you'd see mandatory marriage counseling prior to divorces, so the mental health of both (soon to be ex-) partners could be assessed. But stuff like this doesn't move me anymore. Women play their mind games, attacking men on an emotional level. And end up surprised when a mans natural aggression surfaces once he finally sees the woman as a threat.
