When did dating become this huge of a theme in advertising and entertainment? I get that there's always been rom coms, the hyping up of Valentine's and whatnot, but it seems each and every time dating is getting more shoved down everywhere and this time it is being given a more hipster/feminist/conformist vibe.

Each and every time dating becomes more about the status and less about the love itself

I think being single is the ultimate rebellion to the public world

Think about it, it is so taboo to be single in many public venues (even having male friends can't always cover that up) and yet I bet you the singles get more pleasure than couples

I want to date still don't get me wrong, have a kiss and the blast of exploring my sexuality

BUT. I bet you most men only date to show off their status quo. What percentage of men actually aren't suffering from oneitisis?

I want to interview men who date and ask them to be deep down true with themeselves and their relationship status. Notice the mood of most coupled men alone say outside of school or work, it really isn't the same lmao and I can feel them.
