Every girl I've dated, it eventually got to this point. They would start to attempt to control my finances by telling me what I could and couldn't buy with my money.

I would purposely buy more expensive things I wanted (with my own disposable income) and stopped taking them out, even though I already made them pay for themselves every single time we had "date night", or made them pay for me, as well.
