First time poster here and pretty new here. I just want to start off with that I don't think everyone here is just this woman-hating, fuck-em all kind of person (I'm sure plenty are and I'm not hating on you for it, I get where you're coming from). I just wanted to see if there were like minded folks as myself.

The MGTOW outlook from my perspective is more of an understanding of the kind of person you become when you're involved with a woman. Yes some women do attempt to force you to do things or try and mold you into that "perfect guy" or attempt to stop you from doing certain things. At the end of the day though, it's your choice to do what it is that you want.

I think everyone changes the kind of person that they are when entering a relationship and that person you become tends to slow you down. It's not necessarily the other person doing it to you, but having them around somewhat forces you to ultimately do it to yourself to please this other person.

MGTOW to me is recognizing that the person I become when I'm in a relationship takes me away from pursuing my dreams, doing the things I love the most, or just enjoying the freedom of being alone which is why I've chosen to step away from it. It's not coming from a place of hatred for anyone else but more an understanding of the dynamic another person creates that makes you become something else. Trust me though, some of the stories I've read in this, the hatred is completely understandable because women are capable and many are willing to do awful things. I guess I'm just very fortunate for having not experienced anything of that magnitude.
