So, basically what the title says. We were together for 8 months, and I thought I finally found a great girl. Since we are young (18-19), I wasn't all that serious, just thought I found a cool girl I'm able to talk with, and share fun memories. Well, it turns out she wasn't that great, I got the "I didn't ask for advice, just wanted to vent" talk. She told me I had a tendency to give her unwanted advice, but she didn't want to tell me, 'CAUSE SHE THOUGHT I'M GONNA STOP, EVEN THOUGH SHE DIDN'T TELL ME ABOUT IT. Also, she never said she just wanted to vent, she just started talking, and I wanted to help as best as I could. She didn't want to break up, just wanted to tell me about it and be mad for a couple of days. But, I didn't want a relationship without proper communication, or every other word to be taken out of context so I did what I thought was necessary, and broke up. It sucks, she was my first proper relationship, meeting parents and all that, but I guess I should have listened to advice on here. What I wanted to say is, yes, it sucks, but I'm not gonna stop dating. It just won't be this serious. I'm gonna focus on my studies (maths and programming) and gonna use this summer to travel around my beautiful country and party. I'm just disappointed, I really though it would last a little longer cause I thought we had it pretty good, guess it was just good for me. So yeah, AWALT, I guess. Just wanted to vent, although advices are welcome ;).
